Balochistan's grievances are a big part attributed to its own corrupt government and dynamics and the terrorism sponsored by foreign actors. But saying that is taboo. Got to get my brownie points for saying "haha poor people, neglected and abused, army bad". Sick and tired of people treating as a single sided one and done issue of Balochistan being neglected. It gets the largest share of the budget with respect to the population of all the provinces and has been given a record budget approval recently. Watch it all be siphoned off. I have seen projects half heatedly being installed and then scrapped or stolen to be auctioned off to recover some of the budget and fill the pockets of the ministers and landlords. QESCO runs the lowest recovery and highest deficit of any distribution company. Highest amount of children out of school and it's not just because of the lack of access. You don't understand the scope of bribery and breach of protocol until you have to deal with bureaucracy in Balochistan. Punjab is the biggest problem though. 

If people had brains, they would also be talking about all of this and more. Balochistan may have gotten the short end of the stick in the past and might still gotten it in some ways, but where other provinces have managed to do something with their sticks Balochistan just throws them all away

Punjab receives the lowest per capita development budget in Pakistan. Sindh receives more share of water than Punjab despite being less populated and even when Punjab is upstream.still Punjab kha gaya pani or paisa. Punjab just receives 50 percent despite contributing 6p percent to the economy.So the problem is clearly with the people of these underdeveloped areas . In Punjab a balochi buzdar became CM and he was judged on his performance not on race. Now a Kashmiri is CM. Can same thing happen in Balochistan, sindhand kpk without people rioting. Balochistan is half of Pakistan’s land and is the only part of the country with any energy deposits or mineral wealth. 

That’s the only reason why Balochistan has problems and why the separatists get so much funding, weapons and media attention.

Most of the grievances of these people are BS. Time and time again turns out missing persons weren’t missing at all and die during operations also it is much easier for a Baloch domicile holder to get admission, get a scholarship and get a government job vs a Punjabi or Sindhi or KPK student.

My biggest question is, why are you pointing fingers at your own civilians, advocating for Baloch innocent civilians and their peaceful movements like BYC, and not blaming the government and army for their lack of accountability and security and diplomatic failure? As a citizen born raised and living in quetta, i can say that the killing of punjabis and the hatred between baloch and punjabis has not just began now out of no where. If you know about the history of Balochistan you would understand better why is there so much hate from baloch extremists towards punjabis. I am a punjabi myself and dont support killing of innocents of any race ethnicity or region.

Balochistan has always been the neglected part of pakistan having rich mineral and sui gas reserves but the state and establishment always uses this region for its own good. They make deals with the sardars of the areas for the land for benefit and sardars are no good as well. There is alot of corruption money isnt invested in education roads healthcare etc because a huge chunk is eaten by the provincial government and sardars. Do you know that there is only 1.2% share of the profit earned from the sui gas plants in Balochistan that is given to Balochistan, everything else goes to state. More than half of Balochistan does not have gas even the areas that are near to the powerplants. If the provincial government is corrupted which i agree, then state should intervene hold audits and hold people responsible that why is not the budget utilized where it should be and where have the money gone.

The other thing, Balochistan leaders like akhtar mengal, bugti (who have their own propogandas nontheless) have tried to unite baloch people to have trust in the system, and support the government but has been failed by state every fucking time. Read how bugti was killed how the state after killed him after giving him assurance that he will not be. 

Even the balochistan seats have no importance in the election. The distribution of seats to provinces is flawed. You need 2/3 majority in the NA and even if you exclude Balochistan, you can still get 2/3. So parties don't invest in Balochistan because they can gain more seats through other provinces.

The fact of the . matter is that state has been neglecting this province since forever, while treating punjab better. And whenever the people or provincial govn has looked to state for help it had failed them. That is why there is so much hatred towards army and state, why army is being killed by the BLA and when they dont then punjaabis are killed doesn't matter if you are from balochistan and have lived your whole life here.

That being said, there are external influences as well using this opportunity to hurt Pakistan but as long state and army is sitting idle as people are being killed, the hate between two groups is only going to get stronger.

it's a nuanced topic. Baloch do deserve their rights, thousands of Baloch's have been killed. I dont know what the right way to go about a revolution or protest is, personally just avoid visitting there.

Buddy, it's not just just the BLA, but TTP, Afghanistan and India with help of Israel supporting, funding and running operations from Afghan soil. It's not your run of the mill terror group  it's a full blow insurgency. It's something that will take time to get rid off and first we need to change the mindset of ppl.

BLA are not freedom fighters, they are terrorists who are misplacing the blame of Balochistan not being developed on ppl who have nothing to do with provincial development. They blame everyone but the MPA's and MNA's from Balochistan who receive their share of funding from the assembly but pocket it and blame it on the "army" and "federal government" because it's much easier if the ppl are distracted because then they will not see their lavish villas and garages of luxury cars in while the ppl live in hovels around them. It's not the province doesn't get the fundings or royalties for minerals and such, it's that the ppl incharge there are blatantly ignoring to develop. Educated ppl would see that hence why the pay off local tribe leaders so that they reject education and such. If the ppl there actually want change, they should first work on removing those parasitea that sit in the provisional assembly and their NA and Senate representatives.

Also, what exactly is the military doing? You've been living under a rock if you still believe that it was the military that actually kidnapped those "missing ppl". It was actually a bit news recently after the Jaffar Express attack. One of the "missing persons" was found as a member of the BLA, in a BLA uniform, shot in an operation. The BLA even acknowledged him going to hell. And the picture of the nonhuman was the same one as those in the BLA claimed as being "missing" and "kidnapped". It's the same tactic India used in Bengal, do stuff and blame the army. BLA specifically tells the nonhumans who join it to purposefully make it look like they were kidnapped. The blame will fall on the army and they will secretly get new members. Also, why would they brutally kill and torture the very ppl we are trying to talk things through with? It's extremely counter intuitive.

India attacked KPK in 2019. I wouldn’t rule anything out. They’d obviously be hyper focused on Punjab because that’s where all the military infrastructure, intel, and important personnel are, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t attack western Pakistan if they had the chance to.

Balochistan, I think the chances are less since the iaf jets will need to fly over plain land for quite a bit to get to let’s say Quetta and that will be too dangerous a trip. The more the time Indian jets stay in Pakistani airspace, the more chances of these jets being shot down.

Being constantly bombarded by TTP and entire cocktail of these rag tag groups and on top our Army conduct operations every once in a while so we have to become IDPs. Nothing against punjab, sindh etc. but with these attacks they will have good trainings in self defence and war times. We have good training or desensitised from occasional bombs and bullets.

If by kpk you mean south kpk no they wont but the main kpk like peshawar Abbottabad have main military bases so they probably will attack kpk one way or another it is important for them as far as south districts and waziristan is if a war at such scale broke out army will definitely move its forces to the warzone abandoning waziristan bannu dikhan lakki marwat etc because all these districts are not as important as punjab
